The snowy barn owl is one of my favorites, owls in general a symbol of wisdom and intuition dating back to the Greek goddess Athena. Spotting an owl or even just hearing one in the depths of night feels like a gift. I painted this owl in late autumn when the nights were longer as a reminder to trust my own intuition.
This is an 8"x10" original watercolor painting with gouache and pencil detail on 150lb cotton paper. The listing is for the painting only, not the frame.
